Introduction
Hi, I'm Tony. That's Maggie. We're empty nesters. That's probably the easiest way to describe us at the moment. Our kids are off at, or finishing, college, so we've reoriented our family life. We left behind a 2,700 sf house in Miami and are now living in a 250 sf efficiency apartment near our aging and dependent family. We're hunkering down, saving money, and prepping for the next stage of our life. During the process of selling our house, we were also renovating the tiny apartment. We thought a lot about living in a small space and how to optimize it for our new lifestyle. It loomed on us, an exciting change. We'd like to share some of the things we learned or products we've found that have, dare I say it, sparked joy. We also like to cook, usually together, so a tiny kitchen presents some specific challenges.
